Airtel users in South face major disruptions
Acknowledging the disruption, the telecom major said technical teams were trying to fix the issue
Telecom giant Airtel experienced a major network disruption on Tuesday evening, with users across Southern states unable to make calls. While mobile data services remained functional, customers in Tamil Nadu (mostly Chennai and Coimbatore), Hyderabad, Kerala, and other regions reported repeated call failures and frequent drops.

According to reports, over 8,400 complaints were logged in with hotspots in Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Madurai.
Social media platforms were flooded with user complaints, many stating that the issue has not been resolved yet (when this report is being published).
Acknowledging the disruption, Airtel said technical teams were trying to fix the issue.
