Commercial LPG prices go up again, by Rs 42 in Delhi, Rs 53 in Kolkata
This marks the 4th consecutive monthly hike for commercial LPG, driven by international market volatility where Brent crude remains firm over USD 100 per barrel
State-run Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have increased the price of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders by up to Rs 53.50 per cylinder, effective from today (June 1).
The price revision responds directly to soaring global energy costs and fuel supply disruptions linked to the ongoing West Asia conflict.
The price increase varies across major cities. In New Delhi, the price has been increased by Rs 42, bringing the retail price to Rs 3,113.50. In Kolkata, the rate increased by Rs 53.50, bringing the retail price to Rs 3,255.50.
In Mumbai, the price is now Rs 3,024, while in Chennai, a commercial cylinder now costs Rs 3,232. Hyderabad and Patna are among the costliest, with commercial cylinder prices at Rs 3,294 and Rs 3,322 respectively.
Fourth consecutive monthly hike
Prices of the smaller Free Trade LPG (FTL) cylinders have also gone up by Rs 11, making them cost Rs 821.50 in Delhi.

Domestic LPG (14.2-kg) consumers face no changes, as rates remain steady at Rs 913.00 in Delhi to provide relief to families.
This marks the fourth consecutive monthly hike for commercial cooking gas, driven heavily by international market volatility where Brent crude remains firm over USD 100 per barrel.
Commercial establishments like hotels, restaurants, and local dhabas are expected to face higher operational costs, which may eventually be passed on to customers via higher food prices.
