Ajay Devgn's 'Drishyam 3' confirmed via letter to Bombay Stock Exchange
The studio informed BSE about signing a production agreement to co-produce Hindi feature 'Drishyam 3'; Mohanlal too is eyeing a pan-India release with his version
Even as Mohanlal and director Jeetu Joseph had confirmed the release of a third edition of their runaway hit, Drishyam, it seems Hindi actor Ajay Devgn too is planning a Hindi version of Drishyam 3.
Ajay Devgn’s 2015 Hindi adaption of the original Malayalam superhit film, Drishyam, had created a buzz with its gripping plot, and the actor's controlled portrayal of a common man, Vijay Salgaonkar, who is caught in a perilous situation.
Letter to BSE
According to reports, the Hindi version of Drishyam 3 has been confirmed in a formal announcement by a letter filed by Panorama Studios International Limited with the Bombay Stock Exchange. In the letter, the studio informs BSE about signing a production agreement with Digital 18 Media Private Limited to co-produce the Hindi feature film Drishyam 3.

Interestingly, the Mohanlal-led Drishyam 3 is also eyeing a pan-India release and will also release a dubbed Hindi version as well.
Mohanlal confirms 'Drishyam 3'
In February this year, Mohanlal took to his social media accounts to confirm that the third film is in the works.
Sharing a photo of himself with director Jeethu and producer Antony Perumbavoor, Mohanlal wrote, “The past never stays silent. Drishyam 3 confirmed.”
Drishyam franchise fans cannot wait to see Mohanlal reprise his role of George Kutty.
The first film, which turned out to be a sleeper hit, revolves around a video store owner George Kutty, played by Mohanlal, who comes under suspicion along with his family when the Inspector General of Police's son gets killed. He has to use his innate intelligence to get his family out of an extremely challenging situation.

Hindi remake
The first two parts of the Devgn's Hindi version of 'Drishyam' have performed well at the box-office. Both the films had Tabu pitted against Devgn’s Vijay Salgoankar character, while Shriya Saran played his wife. However, the studio is yet to confirm if the same actors will reprise their respective roles in the upcoming film.
The actor, who was initially gearing up for another project around July-August, has now prioritised ‘Drishyam 3’, said other reports as well. They also said that director Abhishek Pathak has narrated the script for Drishyam 3 to Ajay, who is allegedly very happy with it.
Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn notably has a series of new projects in the pipeline. The actor will star in Dhamaal 4, De De Pyaar De 2, Golmaal 5 and Son Of Sardaar 2.
