
Khaleja re-release: Chaos as fan enters theatre with snake
The fan intended to recreate a scene from ‘Khaleja’ where Mahesh Babu was seen walking in the desert with a snake
Telugu actor Mahesh Babu’s ‘Khaleja’ has been re-released in theatres, and his fans are going crazy. But recently, one of his fans decided to show his appreciation for his idol uniquely and entered a movie hall in Vijayawada holding a snake in his hand.
Panic among spectators
He intended to recreate a scene from ‘Khaleja’ where Mahesh was seen walking in the desert with a snake. According to media reports, initially, it was all fun and games, as the other moviegoers in the theatre thought that the snake was fake.

But all hell broke loose as soon as they saw the reptile moving and realised that it was a live snake. Panic spread among the spectators as they tried to scurry away to avoid the snake. Realising that the situation was getting out of hand, the theatre management promptly escorted the fan out of the premises.
Originally released in 2010
Originally released in 2010, Mahesh’s ‘Khaleja’ has been re-released in the theatres reportedly with a new 4K remastered version and Dolby Atmos sound. Although the movie did not do well at the box office at the time, over the years it has become a fan favourite.

‘Khaleja’ has been directed by Trivikram Srinivas and stars Anushka Shetty, apart from Mahesh, who was widely appreciated by fans for his comic timing in the movie.
However, there are reports claiming that a section of fans were upset over certain sections missing from the re-released version of ‘Khaleja’.
