She has performed for five consecutive US presidential administrations, from George W Bush to Donald Trump, and has longstanding links with conservative political circles in the United States.
Why is she in the news?
Millben, on Wednesday (October 14), alleged that CJP leader Abhijeet Dipke and his party were being funded by US donors opposed to Modi. She alleged that some donors target conservative global leaders by identifying US-educated individuals from their countries, radicalising them and funding political movements.
She urged young Indians to oppose the party peacefully. "Do not fear, my young patriots. Your Prime Minister, who has served India for 25 years, 12 years as Prime Minister, elected three consecutive terms, is not going to bow to disruptive forces from my country," the post read.
What has she said about Modi previously?
Millben has repeatedly praised Modi and openly criticised his political opponents. During the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, she urged Indians to vote for Modi and the BJP, describing him as the best leader for India and the India-US relationship. Following his re-election, she called him a leader chosen by both God and the people.

In October 2025, she said Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was not the right person to lead India, accusing him of speaking negatively about the country while abroad. She has also defended Modi's handling of the Manipur violence debate and criticised opposition leaders.
What is her political inclination?
Millben's public statements indicate a strong conservative and pro-Modi political inclination. She has defended conservative leaders, criticised socialist politics and supported events associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). In August 2026, she criticised New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani over opposition to an event featuring RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.
Her political endorsements extend beyond India. In a recent post, she backed Brazilian politician Flávio Bolsonaro, presenting him as the candidate who would defend freedom in Brazil. Notably, Bolsonaro too belongs to a right-wing party.

She also called for support for conservative leaders in India and the US, linking their politics to religious values, democracy and freedom.
What is her connection with India?
Millben became popular in India during the COVID-19 pandemic after performing Jana Gana Mana virtually for Independence Day in 2020. She later released Om Jai Jagdish Hare for Diwali. In August 2022, she was invited by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations to participate in India's 75th Independence Day celebrations.
During Modi's US visit in June 2023, she performed India's national anthem in Washington, DC, and made headlines by touching his feet as a gesture of respect.
