Dharmendra Pradhan meets Amit Shah as NEET protest reaches Parliament
Meeting comes as CJP protesters march towards Parliament and Opposition disrupts Monsoon Session over NEET paper leak controversy
Amid mounting political pressure over the NEET controversy, Union Home Minister Amit Shah reportedly met Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday (July 20), even as thousands of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) supporters attempted to march towards Parliament demanding Pradhan's resignation.
Shah reportedly met Pradhan at the Education Minister's office in the Parliament House complex. While the details of the meeting were not immediately known, it came against the backdrop of the ongoing agitation over the alleged examination irregularities.

Pradhan also reportedly met CJP leaders on Monday. Though the agenda of the discussions was not officially disclosed, media reports linked the meeting to the ongoing agitation over the alleged NEET paper leak and examination reforms. The Federal could not independently verify these reports.
Earlier in the day, Union Health Minister JP Nadda also reportedly met the protesting leaders.
Chaos in Delhi
The CJP, led by its founder Abhijeet Dipke, has been protesting at Jantar Mantar since June 20, demanding Pradhan’s resignation, reforms in the examination system and justice for students allegedly affected by the NEET controversy. The organisation called for the “Chalo Sansad” march on Monday, coinciding with the opening day of Parliament's Monsoon Session.

The Delhi Police imposed prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) across the New Delhi district and denied permission for the proposed march towards Parliament.
