
India extends airspace closure for Pakistani airlines till June 23
The move comes within two days after Islamabad had extended the curbs on Indian flights by another month
India on Friday (May 23) extended the ban on Pakistani flights from entering its airspace till June 23.
"Indian airspace is not approved for ACFTs registered in Pakistan and ACFTs operated/owned or leased by Pakistani airlines/operators, including military flights," stated the Ministry of Civil Aviation as quoted by news agency ANI.

The move comes soon after Islamabad had extended the curbs on Indian flights by another month.
As per the ban on Pakistani flights, any aircraft leased, owned, or operated by Pakistani airlines, including military flights, will be prohibited from entering the Indian airspace.
Soon after the Pahalgam terror attack, which left 26 tourists dead, both countries imposed airspace bans on each other.
