Tharoor warns that ‘bigoted’ Pakistan will get war if it wants one
The Congress MP said Pakistan had deployed terrorists for 30 years in pursuit of its desire to ‘bleed India with a thousand cuts’ and to capture Kashmir
Congress MP Shashi Thaoor has dubbed Pakistan “a bigoted power” and warned that it will get war if that is what it desires with India.
The Lok Sabha member also told Al Arabiya news channel that Pakistan will never be able to take over Jammu and Kashmir on the grounds that it is a Muslim-majority state.
Tharoor blasts Pakistan
“Pakistan claims territory India holds. It is a bigoted power that wishes to take over parts of India on the grounds that people living there happen to share the same religion as the Pakistani people,” Tharoor said.

Tharoor also said that Pakistan has nothing that India wants and that New Delhi will be happy to leave Islamabad alone.
“India is a status quo power. It wants nothing that Pakistan has. It is focussed on growing its economy, improving its high technology, and providing a future to its young people.
