Our forces destroyed Pak air bases within minutes: PM Modi in Bihar
PM says he fulfilled a promise he had made in Bihar to avenge the deaths of innocent people in Pahalgam, and that Operation Sindoor was still underway
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday (May 30) said that Indian forces destroyed air bases in Pakistan within minutes during Operation Sindoor, and that this demonstrated the strength of a new India.
“The Pakistan Army, under whose protection terrorists used to infiltrate, was brought to its knees by our forces in one swift move. Within minutes, several air bases and terrorist hideouts in Pakistan were destroyed. This is the new India, and this is the strength of new India,” Modi said while addressing a rally in Bihar's Karakat.

The prime minister asserted that Operation Sindoor is ongoing and will continue to strike against terrorism whenever it attempts to resurface. He said the enemies have witnessed India’s strength in Operation Sindoor, and they must understand that India’s quiver holds only one arrow – terrorism.
“The fight against terrorism has neither paused nor ended. If terrorism rises again, India will crush it once more,” said the prime minister.
‘Fulfilled promise’
PM Modi referred to an earlier speech he had made in Bihar after the Pahalgam attack during which he had promised to avenge the deaths of the innocent tourists.
He said he had fulfilled that promise by “reducing terrorist headquarters to dust”.
“I had said that they would be given punishment beyond recognition. Now that I have returned to Bihar, I have fulfilled my promise. Those who destroyed the sindoor of our sisters while sitting in Pakistan, our army has turned those terrorist hideouts into ruins. Pakistan and the world have witnessed the power of sindoor,” added the prime minister.
