State executive to deliberate on party's 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly election roadmap, organisational expansion, and alliance strategy as it seeks to strengthen its footprint in the state
Lucknow, Jul 15 (PTI) Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) president Chirag Paswan said his party will deliberate its strategy for the 2027 assembly elections and organisational expansion in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday at its state executive meeting in Lucknow.
Speaking to reporters after arriving at the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport here, Paswan said the state executive would discuss the party's electoral roadmap and key resolutions for the coming months.
The meeting comes as the LJP (Ram Vilas) seeks to strengthen its presence in Uttar Pradesh ahead of the assembly polls.
"The state executive meeting is being held in Lucknow. Discussions will be held on the party's election strategy, the proposals with which it will move forward and several organisational agendas," he said.
Earlier this month, Paswan had said the party intends to contest the Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls, with the state unit expected to recommend its alliance strategy and seat-sharing proposal to the central parliamentary board for final approval.
He also said the party aims to strengthen its organisation in the state through a series of programmes across districts. PTI
