TTD launches WhatsApp-based feedback system for devotees

Devotees give feedback through multiple QR codes installed around Tirumala, Tirupati

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), the official caretaker of the Lord Venkateshwara Swamy temple in Tirupati, on Friday (May 2), has deployed a new digital feedback system for pilgrims who visit the holy site.

This system aims to gather crucial feedback from devotees in high-volume areas such as annaprasadam (free food) centres, accommodation facilities, queue complexes, and laddu counters.

"TTD has introduced a new WhatsApp system to streamline and enhance the process of collecting feedback from pilgrims visiting Tirumala and Tirupati. This initiative aims to improve transparency, service quality, and devotee satisfaction," said the temple body in a release.

‘Give feedback on specific services’

The process involves scanning the QR to receive a form where they can submit their feedback in simple steps. Users are first asked to enter their name. They are then required to specify the service category they wish to provide feedback on, including cleanliness, annaprasadam, laddu prasadam, luggage, rooms, queues and the overall experience.

Feedback is taken through ratings of “Good”, “Average” and “Not good”. Devotees are even encouraged to add additional comments and video feedback of up to 50 MB.

TTD officials have stressed that this will allow for them to provide a spiritually enriching and comfortable experience to all devotees.

"TTD management will thoroughly review all feedback received and take necessary actions to address concerns and improve services," the temple body added.
