In an exclusive interview with The Federal Karnataka, Khader urged the police to carry out a comprehensive investigation to uncover the full background of those involved and the motives behind the murder.
Appeal for peace
He appealed to the people of Mangaluru to maintain peace and law and order, stressing that violence cannot be justified regardless of the circumstances.
When asked about BJP leaders visiting the crime scene, Khader refrained from making political statements, saying it is the government’s responsibility to handle the matter.
‘Preserve Mangaluru’s reputation’
Khader highlighted that Mangaluru is known for education, healthcare, tourism, and religious harmony, second only to Bengaluru in development. He urged people not to let such incidents tarnish the region’s image or push it backward.
He emphasised that it is the duty of political parties to reduce public pain and disappointment and not attempt to create disturbances or crises.
