Salman invited me, met him at a party, says woman who tried to enter his home

The woman, who was arrested for trying to trespass into Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence early Wednesday morning (May 21), has reportedly told the police that she knew the actor and that he had invited her to his home.

The woman, 36-year-old Isha Chabria, reportedly told the police who were interrogating her that she met Salman Khan at a party about 6 months ago, according to a report in India Today.

Works as a model

Isha, who says she is a model and lives in Khar, Mumbai, entered the Galaxy Apartments complex in Bandra at the unearthly hour of 3 am on Wednesday.

She said she knocked on the door of Salman’s apartment, and that one of his family members answered.

The building staff, after ascertaining that Salman Khan had not extended any invitation to Isha to visit him at his residence, immediately alerted the police.

Isha, however, continued to insist that she was there at his invitation, a claim his family denied.

Another intrusion

Isha’s attempt to gain entrance into Salman’s apartment came close on the heels of another intrusion by a man called Jitendra Kumar Singh who tried to sneak into the Galaxy Apartments building the previous day.

Jitendra, a 23-year-old from Chhattisgarh, had claimed that he was a fan of the actor, and wanted to meet him. On being denied entry by a constable at the gate, he allegedly smashed his mobile phone in anger.

The police have filed two First Information Reports (FIRs) in connection with the incidents.
