
Security scare at Salman Khan's building; 2 arrested

Mumbai Police have arrested two people for allegedly trying to sneak into Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s home in Bandra, Mumbai over the past two days.

Intrusion attempt
The first accused, identified as Jitendra Kumar Singh, a 23-year-old youth from Chhattisgarh, allegedly tried to enter Galaxy Apartments in Bandra (West) on Tuesday, where the actor lives.
Singh was initially seen roaming around Khan’s house in the morning. He claimed that he was a fan and wanted to meet the Bollywood star. When denied entry by a constable posted at the gate, he allegedly smashed his mobile phone in anger.

Fan's justification
“That evening, Singh returned and entered Galaxy Apartments in a car belonging to a person living in the same building. However, he was stopped by the police again.” an official said.
The man was taken to Bandra police station and booked under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
On interrogation, the man said he wanted to meet Salman Khan, who has a Y+ category security, and tried to sneak into the building due to police restrictions, the official stated. It was immediately not clear how Singh got into the car of the resident of Galaxy Apartments.

Second incident
In another such incident, a woman entered the building on Wednesday and even managed to reach up to Khan’s flat, the official said. During interrogation, she told the police that she somehow wanted to meet the actor.
Both Singh and the woman have been arrested and cases of trespassing have been registered against them, the official added.
