Two FIRs lodged after CJP-locals clash in Jaipur village over school inspection
CJP members and Rampura Kanwarpura residents filed separate complaints alleging assault and intimidation after a confrontation during the group’s school inspection visit
Two FIRs have been lodged after a confrontation between members of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) and residents of a Jaipur village, with each side accusing the other of assault and causing a disturbance.
Two FIRs after village clash
The incident took place on Friday (August 21) when a CJP team visited Rampura Kanwarpura village to check the condition of a government school. The organisation later alleged that some residents involved in the confrontation were "BJP goons".

Residents gave a different account, with some alleging the team's arrival caused "fear" in the locality.
The school had been operating from a cattle enclosure because its original building had been declared unsafe. On Saturday (August 22) morning, authorities moved the students to a new location.
Complaints filed by both sides
Shivdaspura SHO Rajesh Gautam said a village resident filed a complaint on Friday night. According to the complaint, a large number of CJP members arrived in the village and intimidated people there. The complainant further stated that children had become frightened and were staying away from school.

A second FIR was lodged after a CJP member filed a complaint alleging that members of the team were assaulted during the confrontation. The group has called for the immediate arrest of those accused in the alleged attack.
CJP co-convenor Ashutosh Ranka rejected the allegations against the group and said BJP leaders had brought "goons" to the spot.
"We have videos and all the evidence. If they also have evidence, let them show it," he said.
Videos show heated confrontation
Purported videos of the incident show a large number of people engaging in a heated exchange with the CJP team, pushing and shoving its members as they tried to enter the village. Some clips also showed smashed windows of cars, believed to have belonged to the visiting CJP team.

Villagers, allegedly accompanied by BJP workers, put up barricades and forcibly pushed back the CJP team that was visiting the government school as part of its 'School Thik Karo' campaign on Friday morning.
The villagers claimed that the government had already sanctioned funds for the repair work of the school building, which could be carried out with local efforts.
