Every state has its own rules. I have been a member of Waqf Board in Karnataka for the past six years. Every dispute has to go through inquiry, verification, notification process. If a party is not convinced, you can go to the tribunal and if you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can still go before the high court or Supreme Court.
