At a time when religious boundaries are hardening across the country, a quiet counter-narrative is taking shape in a village in Kerala. The Navapuram religion-neutral ‘temple’ of worship in Prapoyil, Cherupuzha, offers a rare space where knowledge—not god—is worshipped. With no idols, priests, or rituals, this temple consecrates books, distributes texts as prasadam, and invites people of all faiths to bow before wisdom.
